- Paneer ~ 250 gms
- Onion (Piyaj) ~ 4 nos. chopped
- Capsicum ~ 1 no. chopped
- Garlic (Lasun) ~ 20 flakes finely chopped
- Green chillie ~ 5 nos. finely chopped
(Kacha Lanka)
- Tomato Sauce ~ 6 teaspoons
- Green Chillie Sauce ~ 3 teaspoons
- Soya Sauce ~ 4 teaspoons
- Vinegar ~ 2 teaspoons
- Cornflour ~ 2 teaspoons
- Sugar ~ ½ teaspoon
- Ajinamoto ~ 1 pinch
- Salt ~ to taste
- Refined Oil ~ As required
Method
Of Preparation :
- Heat oil in a frying pan and lightly fry the paneer and keep aside.
- In the remaining oil add garlic, green chillie, capsicum and onion and stirfry till light brown.
- Add approximately 150 ml of water and add tomato sauce, chillie sauce, soya sauce and vinegar and bring to boil.
- Add sugar and salt.
- Add the paneer, cover pan with a lid and cook for 5 minutes in a low flame.
- Dissolve cornflour in ½ cup water and add to the mixture and cook for approximately for 2 to 3 minutes stirring continuously till a thick gravy is formed.
- Switch off the flame and add ajinamoto and stir.
- Your CHILLIE PANEER is ready to be served
