Large Onion (Piyaj) ~ 3 nos. ground to a paste

Garlic (Lasun) ~12 flakes ground to a paste

Green Chillies (Kancha Lanka) ~ 2 nos. ground to
a paste

Dry Red Chillies (Sukno Lanka) ~ 2 nos.
Ø
Turmeric Powder (Guro Halud) ~ 2 teaspoons
Ø
Sugar ~ 1/2 teaspoon
Ø
Tomato Ketchup ~ 2 teaspoons
Ø
Butter ~ 50 gms
Ø
Garam Masala Powder ~ 1/2 teaspoon
Ø
Salt ~ As per taste
Method Of Preparation :
Ø Chop
and wash the spinach and grind to a paste.
Ø Heat
25 gms butter in a frying pan and fry the paneer lightly and keep aside.
Ø In
the remaining butter in the frying pan fry the red chillies, then add onion, garlic,
green chillie paste and turmeric powder and stir fry till oil separates from
the mixture.
Ø Add
Spinach paste, sugar and salt and cook for 10 minutes stirring continuously.
Ø Add
paneer cubes and simmer for 10 minutes.
Ø Add
garam masala, tomato ketchup and the remaining 25 gms butter and stir
continuously till the mixture acquires a tight consistency.
Your PALAK PANEER is ready to be served.
